Medicare Referrals, Insurance and General Information

Talk to your doctor before your scheduled appointment and they can refer you for sessions via a Medicare Mental Health Care Plan.

...Why bother? A MHCP from your GP allows 6 - 10 Medicare subsidised sessions per year with a rebate of $93.35 per session, reducing your out of pocket expense.

Modern Mind Psychology will also communicate with your GP on a regular basis to ensure a holistic approach to improving your mental well being. GP's are the glue in our health system. You don't need a regular GP to obtain a referral but we'd encourage you work with a the same GP during this time to ensure continuity of care.
